This harmonica is based on the Marine Band 365/28.
The reed dimensions are ideal for bending and, with additional setup, for overblowing as well. Compared with a standard 10-hole model, it offers an extra octave in the lower register. The open-backed covers give it added volume and power. The Marine Band SBS is well suited to blues, rock, and folk, as well as melodic playing.
Keys of C, D, and F: Features an extended lower register. The tuning repeats the configuration of standard holes 1 to 3 one octave lower. This provides a deep bass foundation.
Keys of G and A: Features an extended upper register. The first three holes match a standard harmonica. The remaining holes shift an octave higher.
