Near the Cross

 5  -5       5    -4      4     3      3
Jesus, keep me near the cross;
3       4     4   5      5   -4
there a precious fountain,
5     -5  5   -4    4  3        3
free to all, a healing stream,
3          4       4  -3        -4    4
flows from Calvary's mountain.

Refrain:

5     6     6    -5  -6    -6
In the cross, in the cross,
6     -6    6 5   5-4
be  my glory ever,
5    -5     5  -4      4      4      3
till my raptured soul shall find
3        4   4   -3   -4 4
rest beyond the river.

To God be the glory.
