There Was An Old Lady

4 5 5 -6 -5 -5 4 -5 -5 -6 -5
There was an old lady who swallowed a fly.
6 6 6 6 -5 4 4 -4 4
I dunno why she swallowed that fly
4 -4 5 -5
Perhaps she'll die

(Now you repeat the first two lines and then continue)
4 -5 -5 -6 -5 -5 4 -5 -6 -5
She swallowed a spider to catch the fly
6 6 6 6 -5 5 5 -4 4
I dunno why she swallowed that fly
4 -4 5 -5
Perhaps she'll die
(As this crazy, lovely song continues you play
4-5-6-5 over and over till you get till I donno way..........)

This song was sung by Burl Ives.
Using the midilink you can hear the melody over and over again.
And you will also find all the lyrics. Kids love singing this song.
I have altered this tab and now it sounds marvellous!!!!
